Start with the business problem, not the tool. Identify where AI can improve an existing process and where it creates an opportunity to redesign it entirely.

Models are only one piece. Reliable AI needs the right data, context, rules, workflows, testing and safeguards around it.
Get the data ready
AI is only as useful as the information it can work with. Structure, clean and organize the data and knowledge that make intelligent systems possible.
Lead people through the change
AI is changing how work gets done, and that creates uncertainty for everyone. I help leaders bring their teams through the transition by building confidence, creating room to experiment, and helping people see where they fit as the business evolves.
About Kim
I've spent 25 years building technology. AI changed the way I think about all of it.
I've spent my career building software, products and technology teams, most recently as CTO of a SaaS company.
Over the last few years, my work shifted heavily into AI. I've built agentic development systems, AI-powered products, workflow automations, and large-scale data cleaning, classification and labeling systems.
And the more I built, the more I realized that the AI itself usually isn't the hardest part.
Making AI useful means understanding the business behind it: how work actually happens, what information people use to make decisions, where the data lives, what a good outcome looks like, and what needs to be in place for AI to operate reliably.
It also creates a bigger opportunity.
Instead of asking “How can AI make this task faster?” I help businesses ask “Now that AI can do this, how should this work in the first place?”
That's the work I'm most interested in: helping businesses move from experimenting with AI to rethinking how their companies can operate because of it.
